3 ways on how not to succeed in your home business

There many informative programs out there that may help you succeed in a home business.

There are tons of mentors available with many blue prints on how to succeed in which ever business you decide on.

But why do most people still fail in their business? I mean considering the amount of help that is available. There are still a large number of people that do not make it or just give up.

Whether the information is coming from an online source, books, magazines, and news letters it is still valuable information to help you succeed.

I have yet to come across information that said “hey you, here are five easy steps to help you fail in your online business, opt in now and we’ll give the full details on how to fail today“. I hope I never come across that one.

Funny thing, out of curiosity, some people will read it.

Well thinking about this topic of why some people fail I have come up with 3 ways people fail regardless of how much great help is available.

I won’t go to in depth on each since I know as you read these you could probably add to each one.

These are the 3 ways in my opinion why people do make it. They are in no particular order:

Number one:
There is a lack of motivation to continue on. Sometimes there is just not enough motivation that propels a person over the hump.

Lets say your pumped up getting things done, setting up your system, putting all your ducks in a row and so on. Okay now it’s time to put in work.

A couple of weeks go by or even a month and the motivation starts to dwindle and perhaps leaves altogether because the results are not there just yet.

You start having negative thoughts about what you’re doing and the negative voice starts to overcome you.

No you don’t actually hear voices but you start questioning what the heck? Why am I even trying to do this? You start to doubt yourself.

This is where you need to have motivational CD’s, DVD’s, books, or talk to your mentor to get you back on track. Don’t wait till you get to the point of no return.

Take a look at your reasons why or your dream board to help you spark that flame again. After a while you will know exactly how to get yourself out of a rut and get that motivation back because you have developed a system for it.

Number two:
Not focusing on your goals. This is a big one. If you lose focus on what you are trying to accomplish then you will be going in circles and bouncing around from different ideas.

Don’t worry about how much that guy has on his website or how many followers he has and so on. Use that to help you stay focus on what you want. You will get there also.

Concentrate on your plan and course of action. Work on your details and strategy consistently.

If your trying to run around and get 12 strategies in place in less than 30 days when your new you are definitely going to lose focus somewhere along the line.

You don’t want to be scattered all over. You want to have some control for what you’re doing. This leads me to the next one.

Number three:
Not giving your self the time to grow. Not giving yourself enough time to truly digest what you are learning could be extremely counter productive.

If your are learning a certain strategy give yourself enough time and practice on that strategy until you feel you can teach it to someone else.

At that point you know you are ready to move to another one. I feel learning too many strategies at once will only confuse you greater. Give yourself the time to full understand the strategy before you go to the next one.

Remember this is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. You have to be willing to go the distance. You have to be able to give yourself enough time to be effective to others you are trying to serve.

You have to be willing to do what it takes.

So let’s look at the three ways you will that could prevent you from succeeding in your business or better yet stop you from getting the results you’re looking for.

They are the lack of motivation, the lack of focus, and not allowing yourself enough time to master what you learned.

To succeed you have to reverse the manner. Give yourself proper motivation, stay focus, and give yourself time.

Now if you allow yourself the opportunity of improving your motivation, improving your focus, and giving yourself time to truly learn then you will be an unstoppable force.

After time those factors will not be relevant. You will have mastered those areas and you will be able to better serve others.

Now I’m not saying or implying that you do not have to continue improving yourself and polishing your earned skills.

I am saying that once you are over the hump of being new with your new found skills failure is no longer an option. As a matter of fact failure should never be an option.

It’s like being the new kid in school. I know some of you can remember that day. Not knowing what to do, who to talk to, who will be your friend?

After a while you made friends and your confidence grew. Hey some of us even became the most popular kid in school!

But it took time to build relationships, trust, and getting to know the people around you.

So continue to improve on your skills, continue to grow as a person, and I’m pretty sure those goals you have set for yourself will come to light.

I know I’m working on mine.

Take care.
